They hit the ground running. First we took the group to Tip Top, which is the country's leading fast food chain. Next, they checked into their rooms and unpacked. After a quick move in, we took them on a tram ride to tour the city.
Then the team began to assemble bags with a Bible and several goodies. These will be distributed during the week. Part of the group also spent time preparing and prepping VBS materials for Sunday morning.
We ended the evening by going to the central park and having dinner. Most tried their first typical Nicaraguan meal.
