A long and amazing day

Tuesday was the longest and most amazing yet. We can't wait to see what God has in store for us today. Yesterday, we did a morning VBS at 2nd Baptist Church. After lunch, we packeaged 165 bags with about a pound each of beans, rice, and sugar. To those bags we attached a revival flyer and a tract to share the message. We then boarded the Dream of Louisa bus and delivered the packages to some of the poorest in the community. It was an amazing experience that words can not describe. The evening was capped off with a revival in the park where Darrol preached the message, "How do you get to Heaven from Nicaragua?" Sharing pictures will be next if the internet so allows...stay tuned...

  1. It is amazing how much a pound of those basics can mean to a family in Nicaragua. So many of us here in the US wouldn't think twice about them. As a matter of fact, most of us wouldn't even bother with the dry beans and go straight for the more expensive canned ones.
